Tour!

A few weeks ago, a group of about 45 students from the school went on a tour to get singing training. I was asked to go along to play my cello! I got all ready and went and helped pack the bus. That was a hard job, because we did not have much room and we had lots of stuff! The bus was having a few problems! When you turned it off it would not go. So when we where about to leave we had to jump-start the bus. When we left and we drove for about 5hrs. On the way we had to cross the border in to the USA. We all went into the building and got our passports swiped, and our bus driver took the bus to the other side of the border, the officer made him turn the bus of. When we all came out, we had to some how start the bus. We where there for about 45 minutes. We finally got it going! We got to where we where staying very late. We had training all Thursday and Friday morning. It was lots of playing! When we where ready to leave to our concert, the bus would not go again! We got new batteries and it still would not go. They finally figured out that they had been connected the wrong way. They where under pressure because we where going to a Naval base and where going to get a tour of it and we were running REALLY late for that! We finely got it going and got to the base. We got a mini tour of the base. It was really cool!!! We did our concert and went to bed late! We had to get up at 5:15 so we could be left by 6:30. I thought that was too early, but we had to get to our next concert! We had 2 concerts on Saturday and one on Sunday. On Sunday we left early so we could go shopping! When we got to the shops the bus driver said we had till 12:30 shopping (and it was 11!). So we went to Wal-Mart and where there for longer than we should have been! Then some of us got on the bus and he took us to the mall. On the way to the mall he said that he would see us in 7 minuets! We all where puzzled! We thought that we had an hour and 7 minuets to go shopping in and he just said we had 7!!! We all say "but you said that we could be here till 12:30". He said that he must have said the wrong time and he was sorry and we still only had 7 minuets! So we all jumped of the bus and where off! We all went everywhere! Most of the kids did good shopping in 7 minuets! Kyle and I got 2 things for Mum for her birthday! Then we went to our concert. It was an outdoor one and the wind was blowing really hard and our music was going everywhere! I had a container of bobby bins and I gave them to people! It helped a lot! Because of the wind it was cold! The girls all got cold because we only have three quarter sleeves! The boys where warmer because the had suites on!! On the way home we got pizza! We all got 4 BIG pieces each! I could not eat all mine!!!!  :) It was really good!  I was stuffed!!!! :) We had a good time. It was lots of fun! But it was tiring! I was glad to have my bed back!!! :)

Today when I was doing PE we went for a walk.  Half way through our walk one of the girls asked if we could stop for a minute while she garbed her water bottle. While we where stopped I felt a sharp pain in my finger.  I looked down and saw something on my finger!  I brushed it off and realised that I had been stung by something.  I think it was a Wasp, but not sure!  Any way it HURT!  My finger swelled up and the pain was bad.  I went to the girls dorm and the dean put something on my finger.  It hurt all afternoon. When I went to orchestra I found it hard to play cause of my finger!

The other day one of my friends got stung 3 times!  2 on his cheek and one on his arm, and they where hornets too!  His cheek swelled up.  It looked painful! 

I'm glad I did not get stung that bad!!

About a month ago, one of my friends asked me if I would like to go to a princess party!  I said YES!    We did lots of planning, and getting things for our outfits!  We even made our hats!  The day finally came.  We were all excited!  We went to Kandys's house and she and her Mum did our hair!  When we where ready Mum came and took some photos of us!  Then we got chauffeured up to the Lemons house for the party!  When we got there Ceri was there to take some more photos of us.  We had a 3 course meal!  It was so good.  It was lots of fun!
